Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Erdogan discussed “Turkish Stream” project.

As Kremlin reported, the phone conversation was hold, when Putin was onboard an installation vessel, which is involved in construction of Turkish Stream gas pipeline.

During the talk, Putin noted that the level of Russia-Turkey interaction is higher than with other countries, noting that the Turkish Stream construction agreement was signed in the fall of 2016, and pointing out that work has already begun after seven months.

Putin emphasized that the first gas pipeline must be ready next year, and the second one - at the end of 2019.
