STEPANAKERT. – The adversary violated the ceasefire along the line of contact between the Karabakh and Azerbaijani opposing forces around 400 times, from June 18 to 24, and with different-caliber shooting weapons.

In addition, the Azerbaijan armed forces fired from mortars and rocket-propelled grenade launchers, in various sectors of the line of contact, informed the Republic of Artsakh Ministry of Defense (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic/NKR MOD).

Also, the adversary’s special detachments launched a diversion penetration attempt at the line of contact between the opposing forces, from late Wednesday night to early Thursday morning. But the NKR Defense Army divisions drove these Azerbaijani detachments back to their original positions, and caused them to suffer at least four casualties in the process. The retreating adversary left behind personal belongings of special militants. The Artsakh defense army, however, suffered no losses while thwarting this penetration attempt.

The NKR Defense Army vanguard units continue fully controlling the frontline and reliably maintaining their combat positions.
