YEREVAN. – The official launch of direct flights between Yerevan and Damascus was held Wednesday at Zvartnots International Airport of Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia. 

The event brought together Armenia’s Ambassador to Syria, Arshak Poladian; Chargé d’affaires of Syria to Armenia, Essam Nayyal; and several other guests of honor, the General Department of Civil Aviation (GDCA) of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. 

GDCA had issued Cham Wings Airlines (Syria) a license to conduct flights between the capital cities of Armenia and Syria.  

These flights will be operated on Wednesdays.
