Within the framework of his visit to Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh), Israeli political scientist Avigdor Eskin met with the country's President Bako Sahakyan on Wednesday.

The sides discussed issues on invigorating the Armenian-Israeli political and public ties.

According to Mr Eskin, Israel has an experience in and a wish to work with the two Armenian states and it doesn’t care about Azerbaijan's reaction.  In his words, it is important that the world learn about Artsakh not only within the context of the conflict but also as a cradle of the Armenian people—a country with historical, economic, touristic and value system, where the wonderful Armenian people live.

The Jewish political scientist also urged to organize a large repatriation program in the two Armenian states entitled ''To remain Armenian, live in Armenia.'' Moreover, he noted that Artsakh is a real discovery for him. ''You can see friendship in people's eyes here; there is no aggression; they are building a state,'' Eskin said.

The visit was organized by Diplomat.am initiative.
