YEREVAN. – Armenia’s unpaid membership fee debt to international organizations has reduced several times.

Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian stated the above-said during Friday’s debates on the 2016 State Budget performance report, at the standing committees of the National Assembly.

In his words, this debt has accumulated since 1998, it had totaled $9.2 million nine years ago, but it now stands at $1.8 million.

Nonetheless, according to Nalbandian, owing to the work by the Armenian diplomatic corps, none of these 96 international organizations has deprived Armenia of its right to vote, despite its unpaid membership fee debts to them.
