An Armenian national drowned in Vasili (Balaklava) beach of Russia’s Sevastopol city on Saturday, Acting Head of Insurance of Civil Protection Measures Vladimir Bespaliy said at a staff meeting in the city government on Monday.

“Despite the storm warning, on June 1 an Armenian national went to swim, and, unfortunately, drowned. Search operation was organized, as a result of which his body was found only on July 2. The body was transferred to the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The reason behind the death is being ascertained,” RIA Crimea reports.
