YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of Armenia received a report on Tuesday at 10:37am.
Accordingly, the MES “Survey for Seismic Protection” Agency recorded a magnitude-3.5 earthquake in the country, at 10:21am local time.
The epicenter of this tremor was 11km northwest of Gyumri town.
The hypocenter of the quake was 10km beneath the surface.
This seismic activity measured magnitude 4-5 at the epicenter.
The earthquake was felt in Gyumri, Stepanavan, and Artik towns and Ashotsk village, where it measured magnitude 3-4.
