YEREVAN. - Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia Ashot Margaryan has resigned.
He wrote the following on his Facebook page: “It was a great honor and responsibility for me to work as a Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, for which I am grateful to Armenian Prime Minister, Mr Karapetyan.
During five months I managed to get a deep idea of the issues of social sphere and come up with programs of their solution. I should accept that I am making a difficult decision, since I am leaving with a great sense of duty and responsibility, leaving unfinished the reforms launched by me.
I don’t see myself in the state system or political activity in the coming years. I thank my colleagues for the fruitful cooperation.”
