Minsk is for peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict,  spokesperson for the Belarusian MFA Dmitry Mironchik said.

“Undoubtedly, we regret casualties among civilians and offer our condolences to the families of the deceased. We hope for termination of bloodshed,” he said, adding all issues should be resolved only through dialogue at a negotiating table.

On Tuesday evening, the Azerbaijani troops deployed nearby Alkhanlu village, opened fire on positions of Karabakh Defense Army. A 52-year-old Azerbaijani woman and a 2-year-old girl died in the ensuing exchange of fire.
