YEREVAN. – It is not the first time that Azerbaijanis deploy their firing positions near civilian settlements, head of Caucasus Institute, analyst Alexander Iskandaryan told reporters on Friday.

According to him, in this way the Azerbaijani army is trying to hide behind civilians and, actually, turns people into targets.

“This time, a child died. But I repeat: nothing new occurred.  And I am very afraid that such actions can continue,” the expert noted.

The head of Caucasus Institute said that Armenia will state the deployment of long-term firing positions in close proximity to the settlements is a serious violation, however, a small part of the Azerbaijani society will listen or at least read about it.

“It is obvious that photos of the deceased child will be shown in Azerbaijan which is a violation of ethics, but the authorities in Baku are doing a good job in terms of increasing their image inside the country,” Iskandaryan concluded.
