STEPANAKERT. - One of the Armenian servicemen, who sustained shrapnel wound as a result of the shelling by the Azerbaijani armed forces on Friday, is in a critical condition.

According to the information of Armenian News - NEWS.am, the serviceman suffered a wound in his head. He underwent an operation in Stepanakert, the capital city of Karabakh. Another serviceman, who sustained a leg injury, is in a satisfactory condition. The third serviceman is still being examined.

The adversary is violating the ceasefire along the line of contact between the Karabakh and Azerbaijani opposing forces ever since Friday morning, and by firing from shooting weapons, cannons, mortars, and grenade launchers.

As a result of shelling by the Azerbaijani armed forces, Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic/NKR) Defense Army servicemen Robert Gasparyan (born in 1969), Hambardzum Hartyunyan (born in 1997), and Vahe Badalyan (born in 1998) have sustained wounds, the NKR Ministry of Defense informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
