Turkish authorities have arrested over 50 thousand people, among them 169 generals, 24 governors, on charges of having links to the coup attempt, justice ministry reported.
Overall, 43,404 people have been released, 8,087 are wanted. Turkey has opened criminal cases in relation to 169,013 suspects, the ministry said.
