Two Ukrainian tourists were killed and four other foreigners wounded by an attacker with a knife at an Egyptian Red Sea holiday resort, Telegraph reported quoting a source in Egypt's Interior Ministry.

The attackers were detained, the motive for the attack is still under investigation.

According to preliminary data, the attackers swam from a nearby public beach to access the holiday resort in Hurghada. They were armed with knives.
