Governor of Egypt’s Red Sea province Ahmed Abdalla has provided a helicopter to transport one of the tourists injured in Hurghada stabbing to hospital in Cairo, RIA Novosti reported.

A 28-year-old man swam from the public beach to the territory of the private hotel and attacked foreign tourists. Two German tourists were killed, four others were injured, among them the citizens of Armenia, Czech Republic and Russia. Two of the victims have deep penetrating wounds, two women, including a Russian, received superficial wounds. Doctors say the Russian citizen can be discharged from the hospital already on Saturday evening.

The attacker was arrested, the motives of his behavior are unclear. According to some reports, he may be suffering from mental disorder. The version of terrorist attack is also considered.
