YEREVAN. – An Armenian woman who was injured in Hurghada stabbing underwent a surgery on Friday night, another woman suffered minor injuries.

Spokesperson for the Armenian foreign ministry Tigran Balayan confirmed the report for Armenian News-NEWS.am, adding that the woman who got minor injuries will be discharged from hospital soon.

The surgery was successful, and both Armenian tourists will return to Yerevan on July 17 by a charter flight operated by Sky travel agency.  Talking to Armenian News-NEWS.am founding director of Sky agency Alexander Mirakyan said two women were not their clients, they traveled to Egypt by regular flight from Tbilisi.

It is reported that women asked not to make their names public.
