The United States does not intend to return the diplomatic property of Russia without receiving something in exchange, RIA Novosti reported quoting a US White House official.

The second round of consultations between Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov and U.S. Undersecretary of State Thomas Shannon was set on Monday. The last consultations, scheduled for June 23 in St. Petersburg, were canceled. Ryabkov said then that after the US decision to expand anti-Russian sanctions because of the situation around Ukraine the situation is not implying such a dialogue.

The Russian diplomatic property in the United States will be the main issue of the talks. Moscow's countermeasures will depend from the consultations.

Commenting on the arrest of Russian property, Russian president’s aide Yuri Ushakov said that Moscow takes into account the internal difficulties of US President Donald Trump, but Moscow will not remain silent if Washington does nothing.
