Newly elected Lyon Mayor Georges Kepenekian paid several visits to Armenia and Karabakh back in 90s, Asbarez newspaper editor Apo Boghikian writes.

Boghikyan says he first met Gevorg as a member of Dashnaktsutyun party, adding that Kepenekian, performed complicated surgeries and saved lives in Armenia and Karabakh in the 90s, the most difficult period of independent Armenia.
