YEREVAN. – The first projects from Armenia Investors’ Club can be expected this fall, deputy minister of economic development Hovhannes Azizyan told reporters.
According to him, investments can be expected in the area of renewable energy, especially solar energy. There is great potential here, including for export to neighboring countries.
“Investments can be expected in other sectors, and quite large ones,” Azizyan assured. Asked to provide details, he urged to wait for the fall.
Earlier this year Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan announced the opening of Investors' Club at the presence of several dozens of large entrepreneurs representing the Armenian diaspora, mostly residing in Russia.
