YEREVAN. – Deputy head of Armenian civil aviation department Arsen Poghosyan on Tuesday received a delegation led by the director of the Iran-based Kish Airlines, Commander Jadidi.

The sides discussed possibility of operating regular flights from the island of Kish, located in the Persian Gulf, to Zvartnots airport.

During the meeting, the representatives of Armenian civil aviation department also suggested that the Iranian delegation consider the possibility of operating regular flights to Gyumri’s Shirak airport.

From July 22, Kish Airlines will carry out irregular flights on the route Tehran - Yerevan - Tehran, with a frequency of two flights a week - on Mondays and Thursdays.
