Russia's Federation Council ratified ratified the agreement regarding the establishment of a single division of troops with Armenia, Interfax reported.

It is noted that this single division is intended for ensuring military security in the Caucasus region of the Collective Security. 

The division will include governing bodies and troops of armed forces of Russia and Armenia deployed in the region in the immediate threat of aggression or in time of war to repel possible aggression.
