Reddit news platform has managed to attract $200 million USD. Now the company is valued at $1.8 billion, Recode writes, citing one of the company founders, Steve Huffman.

The investors include several Silicon Valley companies, including Andreessen Horowitz, Sequoia Capital, Vy Capital, as well as Y Combinator President Sam Altman and SV Angel’s Ron Conway.

Reddit was established by Steve Huffman and Alexis Ohanian in 2005. The head office of the company is located in San Francisco.
