Britain and the European Union (EU) have agreed to postpone the next—fourth—round of Brexit negotiations until September 25.

An EU source in Brussels told Agence France-Presse (AFP) news agency that “the UK political calendar” was the reason behind the postponement.

The last round of negotiations was held in late August, and it ended with each side blaming the other for the lack of progress.
