Oil flow on Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline is suspended due to damage during an act of sabotage, Reuters reported referring to the representatives of Turkish Energy Ministry and BP, RIA Novosti reported.

An attempt to steal oil was made on Monday night. BP announced repair works are underway and the flow will resume later today.

Murat Lecompte, BP Turkey’s external affairs director, stated the incident did not affect the production and export of oil.
