YEREVAN. – Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with the Bulgarian counterpart Ekaterina Zakharieva at the UN General Assembly.

The sides noted the importance of intensifying interstate relations and stressed that the upcoming visit of the Bulgarian president to Armenia would give a new impetus to bilateral cooperation.

The ministers also discussed Armenia-EU relations, as well as preparatory work for the Eastern Partnership summit, which will be held in Brussels in November.
