The analytical summary by the Microeconomic Analysis and Short-Term Forecast Centre has noted that the number of bankrupt banks in Russia has increased in the third quarter of 2017, as compared to the second quarter, reported the Deutsche Welle (DW) TV and radio company of Germany

From July to September, a total of 3,227 companies declared bankruptcy in Russia.

The registered level of bankruptcy in the country is solely 2.1 percent less than the record level, which was recorded in October 2009.

The most number of bankruptcies in Russia were registered in the construction industry.
