YEREVAN. – Brazil’s newly appointed Ambassador to Armenia, Agemar de Mendonça Sanctos, on Monday presented a copy of his credentials to Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian.
Congratulating De Mendonça Sanctos on his appointment, FM Nalbandian expressed the hope that the new ambassador’s activities will contribute to the further expansion and deepening of Armenian-Brazilian relations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The Brazilian diplomat, for his part, noted that he will make maximum efforts to give new impetus to bilateral cooperation.
In the ensuing talk, the interlocutors exchanged views on several matters that are on the bilateral agenda, and reflected on a number of urgent regional and international issues.
