YEREVAN. – The Foreign Minister of Armenia, Edward Nalbandian, on Monday received Christophe-André Frassa, French Senator representing the French living outside France, and member of the Parliamentary Assembly of La Francophonie.

First, Nalbandian lauded the lawmakers’ contribution to the development of Armenian-French relations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Subsequently, the interlocutors reflected on the strong collaboration between the legislatures of the two countries, and exchanged views on further development of Armenian-French relations as well as important regional and international matters.

Also, Nalbandian and Frassa discussed the preparations for the International Organization of La Francophonie summit be held next year in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan.

In addition, the Armenian FM briefed the French senator on the process toward resolving the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, and the respective efforts by Armenia and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Minsk Group Co-Chairs.
