YEREVAN. – Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman al Saud is playing such a dangerous game that no one can guess the consequences, Russian political analyst Yevgeny Satanovsky believes.

Satanovsky, President of the Institute of the Middle East of Russia, said the recent developments could lead to a war with Iran.

“Will it lead to the split of Saudi Arabia once the heir takes power? Who knows? Everything is possible. Nothing can be ruled out in this world,” Satanovsky told Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent, adding that if Mohammed bin Salman al Saud decides to bomb any country, he will do it exactly as he did it in Yemen.

According to the expert, now he decided to tackle the problem of Lebanon, because, according to Mohammed bin Salman al Saud, it will be possible to clash Israel and Iran there.

“Who can understand the logic of a thirty-year-old man who is ready to become a king opposite to the wish of the rest in his kingdom?"  Arrests or confiscations can be an option for him. Who knows what can happen there,” he wonders.

Earlier, Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri announced his resignation when being in Saudi Arabia, as he feared for his life. He has not returned to his homeland yet. Relations between Lebanon and some Arab states deteriorated sharply following his resignation. Saudi Arabia and Kuwait urged their citizens to leave Lebanon, while Lebanese President Michel Aoun said that they had not accepted Hariri's resignation and would wait for his explanations upon his arrival in Beirut.
