YEREVAN. – At the invitation of his Russian colleague Vladimir Putin, President Serzh Sargsyan of Armenia on Wednesday arrived in Moscow on a working visit.

In the morning, Sargsyan visited the seat and the Holy Transfiguration Cathedral of the Diocese of Russia and New Nakhijevan of the Armenian Apostolic Church, press office of the President informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

After a candlelight and prayer ceremony, Sargsyan toured the exhibition of modern Armenian cross-stones, at the churchyard.

Subsequently, the President toured the “Biblical Land Armenia” exhibition at the church museum, and which is devoted to the 300th anniversary of the Armenian Diocese of Russia and New Nakhijevan, and has opened within the framework of Armenia Culture Days in Russia.
