At the previous meeting, Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed that he will do everything to solve the Karabakh problem, stated President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Turkey.

At the end of an event, the Turkish president responded to a question by the reporter of an Azerbaijani TV, and with respect to the Karabakh conflict, according to Hürriyet (Liberty) newspaper of Turkey.

In this connection, Erdoğan noted that Russia is the only power in the region to resolve this matter. 

“At the previous meeting, Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed that he will do everything to resolve the Karabakh issue,” said the Turkish president. “I’ll bring this issue to the agenda at the next meeting, too.”

But earlier, after his talk with Putin, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had announced that as far as he could see, the Russian president was not very hopeful regarding a resolution to the Karabakh conflict.
