A Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic/NKR) delegation, led by Minister of State Arayik Haroutyunyan, on Tuesday held several talks with representatives of the Armenian community and some officials in the US State of California.

In particular, the delegation met with California State Assembly members Adrin Nazarian and Laura Friedman, as well as general manager Aram Sahakian of the City of Los Angeles Emergency Management Department.

At these talks, Haroutyunyan underscored the California act of recognition of the Artsakh Republic, and the strengthening of practical ties between the two parties. Also, the latter expressed readiness to make their cooperation grow deeper.

In addition, the NKR delegation attended a reception at the Consulate General of Armenia in Los Angeles. In his address at this event, Arayik Haroutyunyan spoke especially about the present-day political, military, and socioeconomic situation in Artsakh.
