Georgia’s State Security Service completed an anti-terrorist operation in Tbilisi, Rustavi2 television reported.

The operation was underway on Gabriel Salosi Street. Fire and explosions were heard, while two apartments were suspects were hiding had burnt down.

According to the service, one of the suspects has been detained. Armoured vehicles are leaving the territory.

The earlier reports suggested that three emergency vehicles left the territory during the operation.

One of the representatives of the special services was wounded and later died at the hospital.
