Elon Musk's startup has earned $300 thousand in hat sales, the businessman tweeted.

“Initial Hat Offering going great w over $300k in hat sales already! Thanks for buying our super boring hat. You rock, figuratively & literally. All cash goes directly towards more boring,” he tweeted.

One hat costs $20, so the company has managed to sell 15, 000 hats.

The Boring Company is an infrastructure and tunnel construction company founded by Elon Musk.

Earlier Musk is known as a founder of such companies as PayPal, Space X and Tesla.
