YEREVAN. – If Georgia starts reselling Javelin anti-tank missile systems, this will cause some dissatisfaction in the U.S., Deputy Director of Russian’s Institute of Political and Military Analysis, Alexander Khramchikhin told Armenian News- NEWS.am.

According to the expert, U.S. will be against Javelin’s resale by Georgia to some other countries.

“Formally, if the systems are already sold, they become Georgian. Of course, this deal has not been approved yet. This is just a recommendation,” Khramchikhin said, adding that even if this happens, the United States will probably monitor the whole process on the deal.

The estimated cost of American-made anti-tank missile systems Javelin cost Georgia 75 million dollars. Earlier, the Georgian government sent a request to Washington for the purchase of 410 Javelin anti-tank missiles, 72 command launch units, 10 training modules and 70 warheads.
