BRUSSELS. -- The declaration that was adopted by the European People’s Party (EPP) during the summit in Brussels also referred to Armenia-EU deal that has to be signed on Friday.
The document stressed importance of the development of EU relations with the Eastern Partnership member states, the Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent reports from Brussels.
“EPP supports the signing of new agreement between the EU and Armenia and launching of a visa liberalization dialogue with Armenia,” the document reads.
The EPP members also touched upon the regional conflicts. EPP supports the need of a more strengthened role for the EU in solving the conflicts in the Eastern Neighborhood, the document said.
