The Air Force and the Turkish Navy will participate in NATO exercises NUSRET-2017, which will be held from November 24 to December 3 in the Gulf of Saros in the northern part of the Aegean Sea, the Turkish General Staff said, RIA Novosti reported.
According to the Turkish military department, there will be joint exercises with NATO member countries with NUSRET-2017 exercises with the participation of naval and air forces in the Gulf of Saros, from November 24 - December 3. The goal of the exercises is to work with mine barriers and to develop cooperation in the course of these operations between the military of different countries.
It is noted that the armed forces of Turkey, Great Britain, Italy, Greece and Bulgaria will take part in the exercises and representatives of Azerbaijan, Algeria, Qatar, Romania, Slovenia and Turkmenistan will acy as observers.
