At the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Bureau meeting that was convened Thursday in the Danish capital city of Copenhagen, it was decided to extend—until April 15, 2018—the activities of the independent body that investigates the most recent corruption events at PACE.

National Assembly (NA) of Armenia Vice Chairperson Arpine Hovhannisyan, who also heads the NA delegation to the PACE, informed about the aforesaid on her Facebook page.

“By the end of that period, the independent body will submit its [respective] report to the [PACE] Bureau, then to the Assembly,” she added. “Let me remind [you] that the independent body was created months ago at the PACE decision, and it was envisaged that the report was to be submitted to the Assembly by January 2018.”
