At least 54 people have been killed after suspected militants detonated a bomb and opened fire at a mosque in Egypt’s restive northern Sinai on Friday,  Sky Arabia News reports.

And at least 75 people were wounded in the attack on the Al Rawdah mosque in Bir Al-Abed, west of Arish city, according to a health ministry spokesman. Most of the victims are peaceful citizens. There are draftee soldiers among the dead.

According to the information, the terrorists first activated the explosive device among the worshipers, and then started shooting at them.
