YEREVAN. – Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian had a meeting with his Spanish counterpart Alfonso Dastis in Brussels on Friday.

According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the foreign ministers raised issues concerning Armenian-Spanish relations, noted the importance of deepening the relationship in both bilateral and multilateral forms.

Edward Nalbandian and Alfonso Dastis noted the importance of regular political consultations and expansion of the legal framework.

Foreign Ministers touched upon a number of regional and international issues.

Nalbandian presented the efforts of Armenia and OSCE Minsk Group co-chairoing countries on the peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict.

Minister Alfonso Dastis spoke about the latest developments and solutions to the situation in Catalonia.

The sides expressed views on Armenia-EU relations, the Eastern Partnership summit, and on the Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement.
