YEREVAN. – There is a need to implement the agreements on Karabakh which were reached during the meetings in St. Petersburg and Vienna, Armenian lawmaker told reporters.

Gagik Minasyan, Chairman of the Armenian parliament’s standing committee on credit and budget issues, said the ceasefire at the line of contact has to be enhanced.

Stressing the importance of the documents signed by Armenia and EU in Brussels, Minasyan added that the documents reflect the EU's position of supporting the Minsk process, which is being implemented by the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs.

“They see that the problem should be solved on the basis of the Helsinki Final Act with the application of three basic principles: non- use of force and the threat of its use, territorial integrity, and the right of peoples to self-determination on the basis of the principle of equality of peoples,” said Gagik Minasyan.
