YEREVAN. –  The Council of Elders of Yerevan decided to rename Zorap Street as India Street.

 The draft decision was approved during council’s meeting on Wednesday.

“The foreign ministry has addressed the municipality. We have discussed the matter. A street dedicated to Armenia, street dedicated to Yerevan opened in India. We are following the lead,” adviser to Yerevan Mayor Gagik Baghdasaryan said.
