YEREVAN.- Armenia managed to implement the “and-and” policy, Spokesperson for the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), Eduard Sharmazanov, told reports after the RPA Executive Body session Wednesday

Commenting on the Eastern Partnership summit held last week and the signing of the agreement between Armenia and the EU, Sharmazanov noted that Armenia has repeatedly stressed that democratic development, the protection of human rights, the fight against corruption are the priority.

"Democratic values have no alternative for Armenia," Sharmazanov emphasized. 

According to him, Armenia managed to implement the "and-and" policy, and it is not directed against someone, it is in the name of the country.

"Develop relations with Russia, deepen participation in the CSTO and the EEEA, and simultaneously have a document corresponding to the prospects for our development," Sharmazanov said.

According to him, Armenia can be a bridge between the countries of the EAEU and the EU, Iran and the EAEU, Iran and the EU.
