YEREVAN. – The agreement signed with the European Union will facilitate the implementation of the reforms planned by the Armenian authorities, said MP from ruling RPA party Armen Ashotyan said during the parliamentary hearings on Friday.

The hearings on EU-Armenia deal are organized at the joint initiative of the standing committees on European integration and foreign affairs and with the assistance of the Armenian office of the Konrad Adenauer foundation.

According to him, the hearing has several goals. First of all, the goal is to start the public awareness campaign on this important document, since it is extremely important in terms of contribution to the development of further cooperation. Ashotyan noted that the signing of this document is aimed at the speedy implementation of the reforms planned by the Armenian leadership.

The hearings are attended by representatives of the EU delegation, embassies of Russia and China.
