The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre has informed that a magnitude-4.4 earthquake occurred in central Italy, reported RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.
The tremor was recorded on Sunday at 11:34pm UTC, 111km northeast from capital city Rome.
The hypocenter of this seismic activity was 2km beneath the surface.
There are no reports yet about possible casualties and devastation.
