YEREVAN. – Some attempts to act contrary to the regulations and precepts of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) are harmful, and they strike a blow to the standing of this organization. 

The Foreign Minister of Armenia, Edward Nalbandian, on Monday stated the aforesaid at his talk with secretary general Michael Christides of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Also, Nalbandian noted that Armenia underscores regional economic integration, and therefore it actively participates in cooperation within the framework of BSEC.

Christides, for his part, expressed satisfaction by Armenia’s active engagement along the lines of this organization.

Subsequently, the interlocutors reflected on Armenia’s upcoming presidency at the PABSEC, and the respective priorities of the country.

In addition, Edward Nalbandian and Michael Christides discussed the priority directions of cooperation within BSEC, and the latter’s reforms.
