Over 1.5 million Armenian tourists visited Georgia from January to November this year, national tourism administration representatives said.

Overall, around seven million tourists visited Georgia in the mentioned period, a 18.4 percent growth as compared with last year, Georgiy Chogovadze said.

The data presented by the Georgian authorities shows that 1,530, 864 Armenian tourists visited the country which is a 14.9 percent growth as compared with last year.

The number of Russian tourists increased by 33.4 percent despite tense relations between the countries.

The number of tourists from EU member countries, such as UK, Austria, the Netherlands, Spain, France and Germany, has increased significantly.
