In the PM’s words, several measures have been taken ever since 2015, when the Anticorruption Strategy of Armenia was adopted.

“And at this phase, measures need to be taken to develop a new ambitious anticorruption strategy, simultaneously introducing the mechanisms for monitoring the implementation of the new strategy and assessing the results,” said Karapetyan, in particular. “Civil society representatives, businessmen, lawyers, scientists, and other stakeholders should be included as much as possible in the work on developing the new document.”
