Ten women were killed early on Sunday, when Saudi Arabia-led coalition fighter jets waged strikes on Harib al-Qaramish district of Marib province of Yemen, according to Yemen News Agency (SABA).

The airstrikes hit a group of women while they were returning from a wedding celebration in the area, an official told SABA.

A confrontation between the government forces and the Houthi insurgents continue in Yemen ever since August 2014.
