A resident of Armenia died in a traffic accident that occurred in the Arzgirsky District of Russia.

On Sunday, a VAZ-211440 model vehicle went onto the opposite lane on a road for unknown reasons, and collided with a VAZ-2102 model automobile, according to Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper of Russia.

The VAZ-211440’s driver, who was a resident of Armenia, died on the spot, whereas the VAZ-2102’s driver, a resident of the rural locality of Arzgir, died en route to hospital.

The VAZ-2102’s passenger, a 54-year-old resident of Arzgir, as well as the VAZ-211440’s passenger, a 27-year-old resident of Armenia, suffered injuries in the crash, and they were hospitalized.

The cause of this road accident is being investigated.
