Charges have been reduced against pro-Erdogan attackers who used violence against peaceful protesters outside Turkish ambassador’s residence in Washington on May 16.

Superior Court of the District of Columbia announced the plea agreement for two of the pro-Erdogan attackers - Sinan Narin and Yildirim Eyup. A plea agreement calling for just 1 year and 1 day for their brutal crimes.

The official sentencing will be delivered on March 15.

As reported earlier, 19 people, including 15 identified as bodyguards of Turkish president, were indicted in Washington in connection with scuffles that broke out outside the Turkish ambassador’s residence.
